A dream come true...

Come 3rd November, I'll be in Manchester. At 1745h, I'll be in Old Trafford. Yes you read right, IN Old Trafford, because I got tickets to the match against Sparta Prague!! Thanks to a friend on exchange to Leeds, he and some other friends applied for tickets and lo and behold we got them!! So yes, it'll be a day trip there just for the match but worth it anyhow. :)

Playing football in temperatures below 20°C is something I've never done before. I've played twice now (once indoor and once outdoor) in a much lower temperature than the tropics...esp the outdoor one coz I believe the temperature was below 15°C. My nose starts to leak after a while because of the cold I think but it probably just needs to get used to it and it'll be fine.

You know apparently King's Cross area in London is a dodgy area? Spoke to a girl and told me someone came up to her and offered her marijuana in that region. But she coming from the US felt that well, it's not as bad as in New York or sthg where people carry guns and stuff. Compared to weapons, drugs perhaps are nothing? Coming from a country where even chewing gum is illegal, all this is pretty fascinating. You think someone might offer me drugs while I'm here? *grinz*
